Elliot Roth, Founder of Spira
Elliot Roth is the founder of Spira, a company that grows microalgae locally as a nutritional product. Roth holds a degree in biomedical engineering and was trained at the Stanford School in catalyzing entrepreneurial communities through the University Innovation Fellows Program. He is a Kairos Fellow and a Seasteading Ambassador. Elliot founded the nonprofit DIYbio laboratory Indie Lab and has spoken at SXSW and Synbiobeta on the topic of social impact and food. He is incredibly motivated to solve physiological needs using simple biological design.
