Dr. Ilan Samish is the Founder & CEO of Amai Proteins, curing the food system one protein at a time; starting with sweet designer proteins as the first healthy, tasty, food-compatible and cheap sugar substitute. Dr. Samish opened Amai after an academic career with a PhD from Weizmann, postdoc from UPenn. He was a lecturer of genetics, biochemistry, physical chemistry and computational biology at Weizmann, Hebrew University and The Braude College of Engineering. Dr. Samish founded and co-chaired the world’s leading conference in structural computational biology (3Dsig) and wrote the leading book: Computational Protein Design.
