Johan is VP, Research at AbSci LLC, a synthetic biology company developing E. coli as a biomanufacturing platform for the soluble and scalable production of complex protein therapeutics, including full-length antibodies and next-generation antibody scaffolds. He joined AbSci in 2018 and has previously served in Director-level positions at Joyn Bio, Ginkgo Bioworks, and Intrexon.
