Mike Cox is the founder and CEO of Anaerobe Systems, a microbiology manufacturing and research company. He has a degree in microbiology from the University of Houston. Mike began his career as a medical microbiologist. While working at Stanford University Medical Center he invented and patented an improved anaerobic chamber and technology to prepare anaerobic culture media in a completely oxygen free environment. He has also developed technology to convert biomass into hydrogen and organic fertilizers and recently received a patent on that technology. Mike is a member of The American Society of Microbiology and the Anaerobe Society of the Americas. Mike spend much of his time teaching anaerobic microbiology and has present over 600 session in more than 20 countries around the world.
